• Close liaison with External Customer personnel to derive an agreed forecast for the 0 to 16 week horizon
• To achieve an 'agreed' forecast at the correct time granularity will involve the Demand Planner driving trade-offs between a number of different external customer departments
• Responsible for facilitating the consolidation for the long term 1-26 period forecast by customer
• Key user of Customer's choice of trade web systems in order to monitor Sales, Orders, Stock (RDC and Store), Service Levels and all other potential sources of Customer data that will allow demand fluctuations to be detected and acted upon in a timely manner
• Responsible for alerting internal customers to fluctuations from expected demand, providing background analysis to allow action to be taken
• liaison with other Demand Planners and the Sales Operations Team will be required to ensure the disparate inputs at each Customer can be handled in a common manner within the company. The uniqueness of the processes externally must feed a single process internally

Who we're looking for
The successful person must have the following;
Working knowledge in Demand Planning
Operational planning and organisational skills
Well developed interpersonal and communication skills
Commercial awareness / Account knowledge
Aptitude for systems and applications
Educated to Degree Level
