Working for one of their specialist divisions, which is the fastest growing part of the business with circa 90 sites in the UK, we are looking for a Property Development Project Manager to contribute and advise the leadership team as part of the exciting and ambitious strategic growth agenda. Based anywhere in the UK, this role will focus on major project management as well as providing a high quality property development and estates management function. Projects will range from small renovations or modifications to more complex site sale/purchase and redevelopments.

As BOC continues to evolve and grow the portfolio of industrial/retail sites and buildings (50/50 owned and leased) needs to be managed to ensure operational efficiency, customer service and employee working conditions are all improved to support the business strategy. This will require refurbishing existing properties in the estate or, alternatively, relocating them and preparing the redundant properties for sale and redevelopment.

Responsibilities:
• To develop and implement a rolling three year property plan
• To manage and deliver each specific property project detailed in the rolling plan to time, budget and quality
• Develop the business case for each specific investment
• To appoint and manage external contractors in line with the procurement guidelines using a competitive tender process and ensure projects are delivered on time, to budget and to the required standards
• Accountable for ensuring any permissions, permits and licenses are obtained
• To ensure safe systems of work are put in place for all site development and construction activities as well as to ensure site security needs are met during the development phase
• Ongoing ownership of the minor cap-ex forecast, approval and spend used for routine building / site maintenance requirements
• Day-to-day property management of the leasehold properties in the estate.

Who we're looking for
The Property Development Project Manager will come from a property, surveying, engineering, facilities management or project management background and is likely to have a relevant industry accreditation.

You will also have a proven ability to plan and deliver several projects simultaneously on a UK wide basis within an industrial/retail environment.

What's on offer
Base salary £40,000 - £50,000 + car + bonus + corporate benefits.
