Senior Programme Manager HR & Ops Transformation

Brand new Senior Programme Manager working for this City based Technology Services Co - where you will utilise your expertise of Change Management in areas such as HR.

A new role where the role can be based in the UK or atoneof their other European hubs -France, Germany or Netherlands.

You will be involved in the overall HR programme and any change management programmes in this area, (working on initiatives for internal mobility projects and programmes as well as supporting the COO team on overall programmes across the business)
One of the key programmes you will work on initially will be the HR Shared Service Centre (HRSSC).This area is in the process or rolling out some very large projects, including an outsourcing of payroll and recruitment.
Although experience of working on HR focused programmes will be very useful, along with experience of HR objectives andsystems (oracle, SAP, Peoplesoft, ERP, Taleo and Sucessfactors) - they need someone who is business and operations focused, they are not looking for a specialist who only focuses on HR. They would like a candidate who is also happy to progress into the business and work on a variety of business areas. They need you need to understand the full 360 degree programme lifecycle, change management programmes, transformation and Migration programmes.

You should be able to lead and come up with innovative ideas and recommendations

Role responsibilities include:
• Quantify the business benefits and work with business managers to define and document the business case for the programmes
• Contribution to the strategic direction and formulation of corporate-wide HR policies, procedures, systems, and initiatives
• Ensure the programme implements changes, which achieve the objectives that have been set, meets real and measurable business needs and improves levels of performance
• Manage project changes, through regular reassessment of project priorities, resolves resource conflicts and agrees additions, deletions and modifications
• Initiate formal reviews of the programme and its achievements to assess critically the work carried out and the benefits obtained
• Define and communicate internally-set quality standards; ensuring that all aspects of programmes work to achieve satisfactory quality and have consistency
• Coordinate HR and IT teams for updates and upgrades to products and systems and, when necessary, issue

Who we're looking for
• Degree qualification, or overseas equivalent and business school training as relevant
• PRINCE2 qualification is desirable
Six Sigma / etc. certification preferable along with:-
• Proven business change programme management experience is essential with significant business and financial acumen
•Business change programme management experience with experience from a business, operational and HR perspective
• Previous International work experience (European is preferable)
• Direct experience of coordinating and managing complex cross-functional and cross cultural projects given multiple competing priorities or perspectives
• Exposure to working on relevant HR programmes, systems/applications, and tools; metrics, data, and business intelligence tactics; and lean process improvement strategies (e.g., six sigma techniques)
• Strong programme/project management skills, particularly with respect to organisation, prioritisation, and time management
• Ability to exercise considerable judgment in building relationships across all organisational levels and functions
• Ability to manage ambiguity, risk, and changing direction of projects and strategies
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations that require sound decision making and may involve confidential or sensitive matters
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and management skills and high professional standard
