Industry leading Manufacturer based in Livingston currently looking for an HR Advisor to join their team. This is a newly created position. Key duties will include:
• Maintain knowledge of relevant agreements and employment law and apply in decision making.
• Support Employee Relations strategy/ employee engagement initiatives. Build and manage relationships with TU Reps.
• Support site Communications strategy .
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of all investigations/ decisions.
• Ensure consistency and fairness in disciplinary, grievance, performance management, attendance management issues.
• Identify training needs and suitable training solutions (co-ordination and/or delivery).
• Co-ordinate basic training & probationary reviews.
• Coach line managers.
• Liaise with managers re labour planning/ succession planning.
• Manage recruitment and selection process for weekly paid/ junior & middle level salaried positions.
• Implement projects.
• Monitor department budget.
• Support managers re HR aspects of organisational change.
• Proven track record in HR Advisor position.

Who we're looking for
To be successful it is essential you have a proven track record gained in a similar environment. A self starter, you will be a confident communicator and have excellent communication skills. You will be a competent user of Microsoft Office packages including Excel and PowerPoint.
