Reporting into the Site Director responsibility includes:
• Manage the running and administration of the Quality Department.
• Developing / up-skilling the current Quality Department.
• Ensure that the company 3rd party, customer and regulatory approvals are maintained and current.
• Maintain and update the company's Quality Management System (QMS) consisting the Quality Manual, Design Handbook, Expositions and Management Procedures.
• Ensure that the QMS meets the requirements of assessment bodies, customers and regulatory bodies.
• Maintain the company's list of Approved Suppliers/Sub-contractors/Stockists by monitoring, assessing, grading and auditing.
• Report to the Board of Directors and Departmental Heads on Quality matters that are adversely affecting the company's products, reliability, profitability and reputation

Who we're looking for
Successful applicants will have a proven track record leading a Quality function within the Aerospace and have specific knowledge of AS9100. An analytical approach coupled with excellent communication skills are crucial in this role as is a genuine desire to contribute to a culture of continuous improvements within the business.
