The role, based in their Central Bedfordshire offices, involves the successful accountant taking up a management position in their accounting services team. You will be involved in completing limited company accounts and in both personal and corporate tax. You will need to utilise excellent technical knowledge and a capability to work hard with an ability to be proactive in helping to develop the department and assess and improve its processes.

Who we're looking for
To be successful in your application for this accountant position you should be able to demonstrate the following:
• An ACA or ACCA qualification (or be qualified by experience)
• In depth and up to date technical knowledge in company and sole trader accounts and in personal and corporate tax
• A proactive attitude towards improving the department
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
• Good organisation and time management skills and a calm and professional manner

About our client
My client is a Bedfordshire based accountancy practice working with clients from the media industry.

What's on offer
The salary range is £30,000 to £45,000, depending on experience.
