Product Marketing Executive

The Product Marketing Executive will support and manage the Product Development and Market Research functions and manage external information providers, portals and research houses to ensure the products are best represented. Key accountabilities include;
 Monitor and report industry and competitor developments, providing insight to drive forward new product development and enhancements to existing products.
 Support and lead the development of new and existing products/ propositions through each phase of the product development process
 Ensure that all aspects of the product development activity is correctly documented and signed off by the business
 Work with Sales team to understand distributor product requirements and develop and launch new products
 Update and maintain product information
 Work closely with other UK departments / companies to leverage internal opportunities including distribution, product development and research to maximise budget / reduce spend.
 On occasion act as project manager for new product development activities
 Work with trainers to develop internal and external training materials to support new product/proposition development.
 Support the development of new product marketing materials and product literature, policy documentation and communication / launch plans.

Who we're looking for
The Product Marketing Executive will posses the following skills and experience;
• Previous marketing experience is required
• Knowledge of Financial Services / or product marketing experience would be an advantage
• Analytical with a keen eye for technical detail.
• Ability to build good working relationships with all levels of the business through effective stakeholder management
• Competent using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and willingness to learn wider applications and tools including Microsoft Project and Visio.
•  Must be able to demonstrate ability to work independently, with strong investigative and problem solving skills, and use own initiative to follow through review findings and remedial actions.
