• Lead a team of 4 Buyers
• Main purpose of the role is to develop and lead the strategic direction of the Purchasing function
• Sourcing new Strategic Suppliers
• Managing relationships with existing Strategic Suppliers
• Low cost country sourcing
• Negotiating and implementing long term supply agreements with strategic Suppliers
• Sourcing in response to new Project briefs
• Analysing commodity prices across a range of materials
• Represent the department at both Local and Global meetings
• Spend circa £10m

Who we're looking for
• Degree Qualified
• Engineering procurement background
• Proven strategic sourcing experience
• Proven people management experience
• MCIPS would be advantageous
