Control Room Officer

Role

• The team are responsible for managing a wide range of Control Room controls and processes.
• The roles will see you:
• Undertake daily Control Room tasks
• Ensure that the research and marketing material that is produced and distributed by the company is reviewed and approved inline with relevant rules, regulations, policies and procedures on a timely basis
• Maintain an up to date Restricted List and Watch List
• Undertake Chinese Wall Crossings and maintain up to date insider lists
• Monitor PA Dealing and provide clearance as and when required
• Deal with Control Room related queries
• Follow the Conflict Clearance process for all relevant transactions
• Provide cover for all members of the Control Room when required
• Liaise with overseas affiliate offices on adhoc projects and issues
• There could also be the opportunity for you to deputise the Head of Control Room taking on further leadership responsibilities.

Who we're looking for
You will have:

• Experience working in a similar capacity within financial services
• Excellent knowledge of Control Room processes and procedures
• An excellent understanding of FSA rules
• Strong knowledge of financial products
• Strong Microsoft Office skills with a specific focus on Excel
