PFI Lawyer

Construction

South East London

Permanent ⁄ £50000 - £60000

As part of a team of 9 and reporting through to the Director of Legal you will have responsibility for a range of projects and whilst you will be expected to review standard form contracts you will be expected to negotiate and draft complex PFI agreements helping to drive major projects forward.

Who we're looking for
You are likely to have 4 to 6 years PQE solicitor with good experience of PFI essential including design and build contracts, direct agreements, interface agreements and other ancillary documents including the project agreement and construction transactions including: letters of intent; standard forms of construction contracts and subcontracts e.g. NEC and JCT etc.; appointments of consultants; novations; collateral warranties, bonds; guarantees; confidentiality agreements and joint venture agreements.

Some experience of construction disputes desirable: including letters of advice; letters before action; pre-action protocol process; court process; adjudication, arbitration.
Essential is the desire to use your initiative and proactively identify where you can help find solutions.
