As European Media Planning Manager you will be responsible for centrally managing the planning and placement of our core advertising campaigns in EMEAR and some key emerging markets. o Recommend and implement online and offline advertising strategy in line with marketing strategy and budget and work with relevant teams, countries and agencies to ensure all aspects of the media campaigns are delivered effectively. o Ensure the media selection meets campaign objectives. o Track competitors advertising activity in key European markets. o Help develop and manage the pan-European media strategy on a day to day basis. o Monitor market trends and recommend continuous improvements to media placement o Support and monitor local advertising channel activities ensuring they complement central plans. o Work with agencies and local marketing teams to ensure media plans are effective, achieve campaign objectives and are integrated with other marketing activities. o Manage media agencies and monitor their activities to ensure consistent quality, creativity and value for money. o Provide adequate reporting on advertising activities including mid and post campaign analysis. o Accurately forecast the phasing of media budgets.
Who we're looking for
To apply for this role as European Media Planning Manager you MUST have the following: • An experienced European marketing professional from either an agency or channel marketing background. • Previous experience of campaign planning and media buying essential. • Solid experience at a senior marketing level and strong project management skills • Attention to detail with a creative eye • Excellent communication skills with negotiating/influencing skills • Intermediate excel, PowerPoint, word and acrobat minimum • European / International experience
