This is an organisation going through a huge change programme whichincludes initiatives that will impact on the systems & processes within the Finance function. This role will be responsible for co-ordinating the end to end delivery of changeinto the function, acting as an escalation point for issue resolution and communications into the executive team. The role will also be responsible for the planning of Finance Change, MI andresources across thechange programmeand working with the wider Finance Change & MI management team to address highlighted risks.
Key areas of delivery will include: •Responsible for managing and implementing robust processes aligned to short term business objectives • Manage and minimise operational risks • Establish and build relationships with stakeholders to support the provision of quality and timely information and analysis to inform business decisions • Effectively work within and maintain internal networks for the purpose of optimising business results • Support agreed change projects to deliver continuous improvement •Deliver medium / large scale projects from initiation to deployment • Management of Direct reports (four or more) •Scope of influence external to own function • Complex processes in terms of scale, scope and specialism with across-divisional impact; recognised subject matter expert There will be some travel to other sites so flexibility with regards to location is required.
Who we're looking for
• Ideally professional finance qualification ( ACA / CIMA / ACCA ) with relevant core experience although qualified by experience individuals would be considered • Project management skills • Practical understanding of relevant financial systems and processes • Good interpersonal skills •Developed presentation skills • Ability to implement change • Planning and organisation
