Accounting Policy Manager

• Industry body engagement and standard setters/government regulator liaison
• Provide support to this growing organisation to look at wider impacts around reporting - technical advice on new transactions and review/sign off of Capital
• Changes, implications and investor communications around IFRS and US GAAP
• Documentation and review of technical papers to propose any necessary changes/lobbying as appropriate
• Communicate internally to note IFRS differences, Accounting Manual and SOX processes
• Charge for annual report, interim periods and expert advice for the financial statements

Who we're looking for
• Banking and Products a must to engage Capital Requirements
• IFRS requirements and US GAAP knowledge essential to look at changing environment
• Audit background or Banking industry ideal in tandem with the above
• Knowledge of future developments and changes to pre-empt impacts

Banking client (medium sized) in Canary Wharf require Accounting Policy Manager. Growing organisation who already have strong foothold in European markets
