Compensation & Benefits Specialist

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Compensation and Benefits professional to move into a key role within the Total Rewards team, providing programs and support of a large number of employees across the UK and Ireland. As the number two in the teal you will lead the design and implementation of new Reward programs and will also provide support and subject matter expertise to the wider HR team and senior Business Managers. Key responsibilities shall include:

- Develop sub-region specific compensation & benefits programs and program improvements using subject matter and market expertise to plan, design and model/cost options;
- Lead projects and corporate initiatives at the country and sub-regional level ensuring timely implementation within budget;
- Ensure programs are consistently administered in accordance with company policies and government regulations;
- Collaborate and negotiate with senior business leaders to resolve complex total reward issues;
- Ongoing delivery of core compensation and benefit programs and activities, partnering/managing external suppliers where necessary;
- Conducting due diligence and submit recommendations for Mergers, Acquisitions, Divestitures, and Outsourcing transactions;
- Coach and support the development of junior team members;
Train/education the wider HR team and or business managers;
- Maintain a strong network of C&B professionals in like organisations to ensure in-depth understanding of the local market and C&B trends.

Who we're looking for
The successful applicant shall have proven total rewards experience within a blue chip environment with experience of leading delivery of compensation and benefits programs across a multi-disciplinary workforce. You will have a first-level university degree or equivalent experience with a deep knowledge of legal and regulatory environments and extensive knowledge within compensation and benefits. Project management experience is a must together with experience of negotiating with and influencing senior management.
