This Regional Manager presents a real opportunity to be at the heart of the design, development and implementation of a long term brand and business strategy in the Nordics region. The Nordics have strategic significance to the International Markets portfolio, with the intention to deliver sustained double digit growth. You will have full P&L responsibility and have the freedom to apply your experience to reinforce our business position and generate sustainable growth within the region. The Regional Manager will inspire Twinings distributor partners with their vision for the business and clarity of marketing strategy.
You can expect to have the following key accountabilities:
• To achieve annual volume, NSV, profit and working capital objectives
• To develop a vision and strategy for the Twinings business in the region with a focus on Sweden and Finland. These will outline future growth opportunities for the brand and detail the key strategic imperatives and initiatives that will be required to deliver these
• To translate these into an annual and 5 year business plan to deliver both the annual financial targets and the long term business strategy
• To develop deep insights and understanding of consumer needs in the markets and, in collaboration with Marketing, turn these into clear and compelling brand strategies that deliver strong, defensible market positions for the Twinings brand
• To define and implement Key Performance Indicators for the Twinings Distributor partners and in-market agencies ensuring that the Twinings brand receives industry leading management and representation in the relevant trade and consumer communication channels
• To design and develop processes and behaviours to ensure that the required performance management and planning processes are in place and effective
Who we're looking for
We are looking for a highly collaborative, energetic, determined and resilient individual with a real passion for overseas markets and the desire to learn about the local consumers. Ideally you will have extensive previous FMCG experience in sales and/or marketing roles in a branded environment. The ideal person will be an expert in building strategy, vision and actionable plans through others. Retail key account management and category management would be a plus. International and retail experience is also an advantage. The position will be based out of our Andover office in Hampshire. Regular international travel is required.
