To provide the business leaders with HR leadership & HR service. Advising them on issues regarding strategic human resources so the division meets their objectives within statutory & corporate parameters. Key accountabilities include: • Building relationships across the business to ensure that HR are business partners & are viewed as adding value. • Formulating & obtaining agreement for implementation & evaluation of UK HR Policies, practices & procedures. • Sitting on various committees/meetings/bodies representing the HR perspectives & advising Directors/Managers/Employees on matters relating to HR & employment law. • Carrying out negotiations with employees & external parties as & when necessary to ensure the company's policies & procedures are adhered to. • Liaising with line management with regard to employee relations issues such as: Absence Management, Disciplinaries & Grievances, Morale Management, Performance Excellence, Career Progression, Organisation Development, Succession Planning & International Relocations. • Liaising with senior management with regard to organisational development & implements agreed plan for right sizing commercial operations. • Reviews with Line Management personal development plans & takes whatever action is required to ensure the level of performance meets the expectations of the business & the individual is being developed to meet the succession plan.
Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate will: • Need to demonstrate their experience of HR in a large company environment. • Need a proven track record in performance management, employee relations & internal consultancy skills. • Be from a regulated background not necessarily pharmaceutical. • Be a CIPD member • Have excellent communication & interpersonal skills. • Have the ability to utilise situational leadership. • Have the ability to demonstrate they are capable of multi-tasking with changing priorities when the situation requires.
