Reporting to the Group IT Manager, the Business Systems Specialist will act as the IT application specialist within the UK IT department for all IT applications used within the Porsche Retail Group. Covering a range of automotive applications, the key focus will be the ADP Autoline Dealer Management System in use across all Centres, and the Progress DMS system installed in the Aftersales departments.
You will be tasked with engaging all stakeholders across the Retail business to gain a deep understanding of their current application usage, and to work with them to drive the future application roadmap. Possessing strong communication skills, you will be comfortable operating at all levels of the organisation, and able to demonstrate both functional and technical expertise in the specialised retail applications .The key applications you will be responsible for include the Dealer Management System (Autoline and Progress DMS). You will also have responsibility for managing 3rd party vendors, ensuring successful delivery of any change project or issue resolution. This role will take ownership for managing both tactical and strategic systems improvements, as well as managing and delivering application training for both IT and business users.

Who we're looking for
The successful candidate will possess an in-depth knowledge of the retail and wholesale automotive environments, specifically in the area of Dealer management Systems. You must have proven experience of working with ADP and the Autoline Dealer Management System, and should be comfortable with managing changes and enhancements in this environment.
Whilst this role will not require coding or the management of coding resources, a systems development background would be advantageous as the successful candidate will need to produce the relevant technical and functional documentation to support application changes and enhancements .
You will have a proactive, can-do approach, with first class communication skills (both written and verbal). You will have a passion for driving change to deliver business benefit and possess outstanding organisational skills.
