Applications & Database Support Analyst

Reporting directly to the Head of Applications, candidates will be given the opportunity to work on the current, and help implement, new applications as well as supporting the database administration role. Strong analytical skills are required as report writing is an integral function to the role, and there is a key element of a variety of business facing with developers, end users and 3rd parties so excellent communication skills are paramount. Please note that there will be an expectation to partake in the helpdesk Rota which includes weekend cover approx once per quarter.

Who we're looking for
Technical Skills-
• Microsoft Certified Qualification- minimum of MCSE.
• Proficiency in SQL server- managing data tables, writing queries.
• VB scripting skills essential.
•Competencies in .Net preferable.
Soft Skills-
•Ability to work well in a team.
•Must be a self starter/able to manage own time.
•Show good attention to detail.
• Strong business facing skills- internal and external.
