Working as part of the Group Finance and Treasury team to understand and report on the activities listed below which have been undertaken by the Group:
• To establish and own an efficient and effective securitisation reporting and governance function within Finance servicing all securitisation SPVs. This will cover key controls and all internal and external reporting to stakeholders.
• To become business expert taking ownership for adherence to all SPV legal documentation. To work with our legal advisors for changes to documents as appropriate as a result of rating agency changes and/or new SPV's .
• To establish effective SPV accounting oversight and review function being business expert on securitisation for regulatory reporting.
• To manage the day to day operational function of PBS SPVs including portfolio analytics.
• To promote an understanding of securitisation and funding issues across the Group.
• To work as part of the senior Group Finance Operations team, maintaining a good understanding of the businesses and its issues ensuring that any impact on securitisation reporting is fully understood and mitigated.
• To prepare presentations to investors, rating agencies, SPV statutory accounts and any other ad hoc Group requests.

Who we're looking for
Qualified Accountant (Ideally with a couple of years post qualification experience)
The holder of the role will be a qualified accountant ideally with some investor relations experience.
The role holders is expected to liaise with the Group's executive team, and externally with representatives from the rating agencies, Bank of England, Financial Services Authority and the investor community.
They would need the ability to speak confidently and authoritatively on complex issues relating to the Group's securitisations.
The role-holder will need to be resourceful self starter and a have the ability to communicate with both internal and external stakeholders including the Regulator.
The role-holder should have a detailed knowledge of International Accounting Standards and their application in a financial services organization as part of the role will be supporting the introduction of new accounting standards and the set up of new securitisation processes.
The role holder will be expected to have significant systems skills and knowledge so as to be able to drill down into data and budgets to identify and understand variances and drivers of trends. The role holder will also be expected to have significant involvement in Finance initiatives to help simplify the reporting processes using the current IT systems available.
