Be accountable for the managing the creation and maintenance of the operational and technical reporting and analysis for the business unit stakeholders. Will need to effectively manage and assimilate a variety of disparate data sources into cohesive, accurate and timely reporting. Providing in-depth analysis on results to the business units in successfully managing all key components of business solutions.
MI and Data Analytics 80%
- Develop and implement MI to meet evolving business units reporting requirements
- Utilise Excel VBA, Cognos (and other tools) to develop new MI outputs, ensuring practical automation of processes and efficient extraction and manipulation of data
- Review MI reporting processes and implement process improvements to ensure optimal use of MI
- Ensure MI data integrity is regularly validated.
- Knowledge share with business units to maintain fluid use of MI in the function
-Regularly participate in meetings to ensure the teams are kept appraised of new MI developments, as well as gaining new MI development opportunities to support the function.
- Undertake ad-hoc MI analysis as required by Associate Directors, Directors and other senior stakeholders

- Maintain leading-edge personal and professional development though regular and focused activity (e.g. conferences, courses, personal coaching)
- Improve technical knowledge through self-learning and training
- Undertake training to become expert in variety of areas within Legal and Compliance
- Support team members in development and training needs

- Keep up to date with latest thinking on relevant disciplines.

Technical skills
- Highly skilled using industry standard data analytics tools

- Full understanding of MI development principles
Knowledge
- Strategic and technical development of MI and Data analytics solutions
- Operational Data Management
- Technical knowledge of infrastructure and data warehouse processes and design principles
- High level Stakeholder management and communication track record
- Well developed commercial awareness.
- Personal adaptability to take on ad-hoc deliverables.
- Knowledge of all regulations related to Data management and storage
Experience Essential
- Experience of working in an MI / BI capacity within a bank / blue chip organisation
- Operational DB management and MI production
- Prior experience of Business Intelligence suites, e.g. Business Objects, Cognos, on multiple database platforms, including Oracle
- Experience of working in a highly visible, delivery-focused and fast paced environment
- Process improvement and streamlining experience<BR>- Able to translate complex technical material and present to Business stakeholders.
-Managing a team of direct reports with experience prioritising workload and timelines.
Management of stakeholder relationships and strong communication skills with Executives at the highest level
