Reporting to the Group IT Manager, the Business Systems Specialist will act as the IT application specialist within the UK Group IT department for all systems provided by the global Porsche business for use in Porsche Centres in the UK and the Porsche Head Office.
Your main responsibility will be to have end to end ownership of Group systems, promoting and selling the systems to the local business, and ensuring that the system is in line with local business processes and requirements.You will work closely with key stakeholders from across business functions, including Warranties, Vehicle Ordering & Finance. You will develop a strong working relationship with peers in Porsche IT in Germany, ensuring that the UK business is effectively represented at Group level. You will also have responsibility of managing 3rd party suppliers, ensuring successful delivery of any change project or issue resolution work. This role requires a balance of systems improvements on a strategic level as well as on an operational level.
Who we're looking for
An experienced Business Systems specialist, you will possess a combination of functional and technical expertise in a wide range of applications. A demonstrated track record of stakeholder management, process and systems improvement in a diverse application environment will be highly regarded, as will any exposure to SAP. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential. You will have a 'hands-on' approach to business systems, and show you are prepared to take responsibility for all aspects of applications, including support activity.
