Our client, is a market leading specialist division offering installation of insulation and renewable technologies to both the Public and Private sector.
As Renewables Installation Manager you will report into the Director and oversee the continued penetration and significant growth into the Solar market by:
• Managing all operational matters arising within the Solar sector.
• Engaging and deploying directly employed staff and sub contractors to install the contracts.
• Ensuring all works are constructed in compliance with the relevant legislation, the company's installation manuals and the contract specification.
• Engaging with the client base, providing managerial input into tender submissions and ensuring MSC accreditation is achieved and maintained.
• Ensuring all operational and financial KPIs are adhered to in line with company's commercial and contractual interests.
Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate will have achieved MCS accreditation and have both the technical expertise and operational capability to manage and grow a rapidly expanding business, presently at £5m. With ambitious growth plans, the Solar division requires a forward thinking and driven individual to head up the entire operation through initial ITT, through PQQ stage and ongoing engagement with the client to successful delivery of contract.
With proven success in the sector in a similar role you will bring both operational and commercial delivery capability and the relevant technical expertise (MCS accreditation, Electrical qualifications - Part P, 17th edition).
You will have a passion for renewable technology and have experience of delivering various schemes incorporating Solar PV, ground and air source heat pumps and solar thermal. You will be committed to delivering a first class customer service and be able to communicate at all levels with a variety of stakeholders including clients, sub contractors and senior management.

Our client is an expanding business specialising in the installation of insulation / renewable technologies to the Public and Private sector.
Their client base includes Housing Associations, Local Authorities, MOD, Local Government and Private landlords. With significant growth plans, the Solar division requires an ambitious leader to take the business from £5m - £20m over the next few years.
