IT Business Analyst

• Understanding and documenting of business requirements.

• Scoping requirements and identifying feasible and cost effective solutions.

• Delivery of solutions within agreed timeframe and budget (if applicable).

• To become an 'expert' in Buying & Merchandise systems and processes

• Ensure integrity and timeliness of all data interfaces (internal and external).

• Maintain and make use of business information tools and reporting systems to provide decision information to appropriate personnel.

• Review and edit requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solutions.

• Consider and support training requirements for systems and reporting changes.

• Lead testing efforts for IT systems and interfaces to ensure business sign off.

• Take an active part in wider IT support as required including out of hours support.

System Knowledge

• Microsoft Office / Project /SQL
• Storage and networking technologies.
• Planning and project management methodologies
• Communication infrastructure to support an end to end retail environment
• EPOS
• Merchandising / PO Management Systems
• Transactional Web Sites
• Financial systems
• Warehouse Management Systems

My client is a national retailer who are based in Buckinghamshire.

What's on offer
Salary between £24 000 - £29 000 depending on experience.
