To join a small, friendly in house tax team and provide tax support, specifically in the areas of UK tax compliance, collation of transfer pricing documentation and tax reporting.
UK Corporation Tax Compliance • Preparation of UK corporate tax computations and group relief claims for review prior to HMRC submission; this includes maximising R&D claims • First point of call for HMRC correspondence and enquiries; Assist in maintaining low risk rating; • Preparation of quarterly instalment calculations for review • Assist other Head Office personnel, UK subsidiary financial controllers, external and internal auditors and third party advisors with any UK tax queries • Keep up to date with UK proposed and current tax legislation • Assist with on-going CFC and SAO reviews • Preparation of tax treaty forms
UK Corporation Tax Reporting • Assist the UK subsidiary controllers with the annual tax accounting schedules under IFRS and preparation of those pertaining to Head Office UK companies - this includes current and deferred tax calculations and proof of tax • Help with the annual group consolidation • Assist the UK subsidiary controllers with the UK GAAP notes for the financial statements and preparation of those pertaining to Head Office UK companies and answering auditor queries in this regard
Other • Assist with other ad hoc projects as required such as transfer pricing and reorganisations
Who we're looking for
Applicants would most likely be ATT or part-qualified ACA/ACCA and have worked in a corporate tax environment.
Industry experience would be an advantage though not essential
Software: • Alphatax experience preferred • SAP accounting package experience would be useful • Microsoft Office proficiency
