The chief purpose of the role is as follows:
To provide a tax service which incorporates Income and Capital Gains Tax compliance, planning and advice.
The completion of Trust tax returns and trust accounts.
Managing the tax return client bank to comply with all deadlines.
Dealing with deceased clients' personal tax reporting requirements to date of death. Dealing with estate administration tax reporting
Assisting with production of estate accounts and Court of Protection accounts where necessary.To develop the number of tax return clients and the tax service profile of the firm and Private Client team, across the firm and its catchment area

Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate will have the following experience/ profile:
Qualified by experience, and qualified to ATT level at least, in carrying out personal income, capital gains tax and trust compliance and in advising clients and dealing with the Revenue. It is unlikely that anyone with less than two years' post qualification experience could work to the level required. Those who are very experienced in tax work but who have no formal qualifications would also be considered.
Has knowledge of BPR and APR and ideally PAYE
Must have excellent client handling skills and attention to detail.
Must have excellent IT skills particularly in Excel and tax software.
Must have the ability and willingness to help build up the service as part of the growth plans for Private Client
Must be willing to use own car on firm's business (for which a mileage allowance will be paid) and to work from any of the firm's offices as required
