Michael Page Buying & Merchandising is seeking an Assistant Merchandiser for this fast-paced high street Ladieswear Retailer in London.
Key responsibilities
· Have experience of forecasting on the WSSI.
· Forecasting linecards.
· Proposing rebuys and cancellations.
· Looking after the delivery schedule and making necessary order movements.
· Managing and developing the department MAA.
· Update and present the Monday trade pack.
· Trade their own category
· Work with Merchandiser to ensure spend is within season OTB.
· Propose markdowns.
· Provide ad hoc analysis i.e. sizing, missed potential, history for planning future seasons.
· Produce valuable lesson learnt analysis at the end of each season.
· Have an interest in fashion and ability to make commercial decisions.

Who we're looking for
As an Assistant Merchandiser for this fast-paced high street Ladieswear Retailer in London you will need;
• Good problem solving skills - can overcome issues, propose solutions and make commercial decisions.
• Excellent interpersonal skills - works with others and is able to influence and communicate effectively at all levels.
• Commercially aware with a strong understanding of the high street.
• Good people management skills.
• Good attention to detail
• Can perform under pressure and operate in a fast past environment
