Senior Business Development Manager

Main purpose of the job;
You will be responsible for building up business through major projects, gaining new customers, accounts, frameworks and through development of new products.

Responsibilities
• All UK major civil engineering projects in excess of £50m - compiling and maintaining project trackers to access results and for future marketing and sales and respective tenders/quotes for the high level projects.
• National water frameworks - compiling database of tenders, incumbents and products and responsibility for tendering and respective negotiations supporting Commercial Director
• Following up new business opportunities for all products and arranging meetings and attending presentations to support the field sales personnel
• Communicating new product developments to prospective clients either at customer site or at presentations in our manufacturing facilities at St Crepin, Ardennes or Ireland.
• Administering major projects - tenders, specific product development
• Monthly management progress reports including, results achieved, recommendations, market feedback.
• Attending networking events; exhibitions, seminars and social construction industry events.

Who we're looking for
• A proven track record in high level sales/business development
• Ability to cold call and generate meetings with target customers
• Perform consultative fact find discussions with potential customers to create compelling return on investment solutions.
• Work independently with a high degree of self-sufficiency
• Selling high value solutions at Director level
• The ability to lead pitches and sell as part of a team.
• Able to commute to Luton office as and when required.
