Procurement Manager to join a highly successful and growing telecoms organisation managing complex IT Hardware, Software and Services spend.

You will bring a mix of strategic, commercial management skills and general commercial acumen to ensure that procurement significantly contributes to the financial performance of the business. This position will require a high level of stakeholder engagement across all levels of the business and an ability to work within a large blue chip environment.

Proven experience with buying a wide range IT equipment and services is required; this may include hardware, software, professional services and networks.

Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate will be a confident and highly motivated procurement professional, with strong influencing skills and a proven track record of significant cost savings. They will also command a strong commercial understanding and an ability to manage major stakeholders and contracts, the role demands a high level of internal and external relationship management at all levels.

Required Knowledge and Skills

• Commercial knowledge & delivery of strategic procurement within IT & Telecoms.
• Knowledge of leading edge procurement principles and practices
• Strong negotiations skills
• Achievement of innovative results and proven track record of significant cost savings
• Background in managing and influencing key internal and external stakeholders
• Self motivated leader and good team player
• Professional procurement qualification (MCIPS or equivalent) or working towards qualification.
