Our Business Services client is undergoing a major infrastructure transformation programme, they urgently require an interim Infrastructure Project Manager to deliver 2012 phases on time and on budget. The programme is to consolidate our client's infrastructure across multiple sites for +2000 users. This is a complex engagement with significant challenges across people, processes and technology. As a result, we require a proven Project Manager who can manage stakeholders at Board level, has excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and has a track record of delivering major migrations and infrastructure consolidations.
Who we're looking for
To be considered for the interim Infrastructure Project Manager position, you must have: • Proven track record of delivering major infrastructure projects to plan, time and budget (must have delivered multi-site AD/Exchange migration projects and full life cycle application virtualisation projects) • Excellent approach to planning, risk and governance supported by relevant certifications i.e. Prince2 or MSP • Experience of service management projects- outsourcing / new service team creation / new ITIL process rollout • Service management certification desirable - ITIL v2/v3 • Excellent written communication skills- the successful candidate will be responsible writing and delivering organisation wide communication documents • Excellent senior stakeholder relationship management- the successful candidate will represent theprogramme atthe Programme Steering Committeeand will bein direct communication with senior stakeholders (including IT Directors and Business Heads) across the organisation.
