Our client, a boutique Strategy Consultancy, is looking for a Senior Strategic Research Consultant to join their growing London Offices. Sitting within their 'Market Intelligence' function, you will be developing relationships with Financial Services clients. The research you carry out will typically be based around the B2B relationships of the firm's major clients e.g. what their competitors activities are, how happy they are with the service, what can be improved etc. This will be qualitative and quantitative.
You will use your excellent communication skills to present findings and recommendations back to the client. After carrying out your research, you will be able to answer - "Now what?". Our client has an aggressive growth strategy over the next three years across all of their business units, and because of this one of your main responsibilities will be to free up time for the Vice President of Market Intelligence.
There are stakeholders across the world, so the role will involve an element. You will also be responsible for line managing junior members of staff, and assisting in their professional development.
Who we're looking for
The successful candidate will come from a research background, with the majority of this time coming within the Financial Services Industry. Ideally this will also be in the Credit Card area, however this is not essential. You will be confident with quantitative and qualitative research, as well as research/analysis functions such as benchmarking. Due to the considerable client exposure that this role offers you will also be comfortable with account management, and have excellent communication skills.
Further requirements include:
• 2:1 or above from a leading University
• Masters degree preferable (eg in Statistics)
• Financial Servicesresearch experience
• International Travel flexibility
