My client wishes to appoint a Business Development and Marketing Manager to work closely with the Directors to develop and drive forward the Company's marketing plan and generate new business. This is a new position and the successful candidate will be responsible for the following activities:
• Develop and implement a marketing strategy and plan, including brand evolution and communications (marketing literature, case studies and advertising), which supports the business plan. • Lead implementation of 'Key Account Programme' including internal communication, client feedback and coaching the management team. • Manage the marketing budget. • Gather the relevant content for and create presentations for use at pitches, tenders, presentations to referral networks and events that will stimulate new business. • Use the IT system to develop an effective CRM database, marketing folders and other marketing specific features to improve the effectiveness of client contact. • Support M&A activity. • Monitor successes, research new sectors/prospects and develop appropriate 'keep in touch' and 'new business' campaigns. • Keep the website up to date with content that drives visitors to the website and stimulates enquiries. • Find and develop relationships with relevant professional networks which will 'open doors' for the company's directors at the right level of seniority.
