The successful HR Systems Analyst will be required to:
• Review the HR processes and utilise Oracle E-Business to improve the accuracy, reporting and reduce administration • Evaluate business requests, complete the required documentation and develop the application appropriately using TOAD, Jdeveloper and Forms Builder tools • Fully support the upgrades and patching schedule and ensure testing scripts are maintained • Raise and manage Oracle SR's to resolve bugs and implement fixes • Work with the HR MI Analyst to build and maintain the end user layer for reporting • Maintain the development schedule to ensure effective planning is in place • Work with the Service Desk and external suppliers to deliver development where required • Reduce manual processes by utilising Oracle E-Business technology • Suggest and present improvements to existing systems in a clear and concise manner relevant to the audience, highlighting costs, benefits and timescales to enable an informed decision to be made. • Provide functional support for Oracle HR, Oracle I-Recruitment, Oracle Payroll, Oracle Self Service and Oracle Discoverer Admin • Support and maintain other applications used in HR and undertake additional projects as requested. • Comply with the information security policy and procedures (in particular awareness of people data). • Comply with all regulatory procedures applicable to the role • Report any information security incident, weakness or malfunction
Who we're looking for
The chosen HR Systems Analyst must be able to demonstrate the following competencies: • Good knowledge of writing SQL queries • Evidence of writing inPL/SQL • Good Oracle E-Business Suite (HR, Payroll, I-Recruitment, Self Service) evidence and knowledge • Ability to plan and organise work effectively • Able to remain calm under pressure and be able to respond positively to a rapidly changing environment • Good communication skills with an ability to communicate at a variety of levels • Good numeracy skills • Able to demonstrate good customer service • Able to work independently
