Treasury Management ?« Responsible for the establishment, maintenance and control of Treasury Policies - including Liquidity, Large Exposures, and Funding.
?« Responsibility for the further development and implementation ofthe Bank'sLiquidity and Funding.
?« Develop and implements Bank Liquidity Policy.
?« Ensure Bank compliance with FSA Rules on Liquidity.
?« Contributes to the identification of appropriate liquidity and asset and liability scenarios in conjunction with the Finance Director.
?« Responsible for dealing in permitted Investment products according to Bank policies and Partner agreements.
?« Responsible for the overall daily management of the Bank's liquidity.
?« Participate in negotiation of new wholesale funding lines via discussions with and preparation of information for the approval of the Finance Director and ALCO.
?« Responsible for identifying and researching appropriate investment opportunities for ALCO that maximisesthe Bank'srisk weighted return whilst complying with Bank policies.
?« Maintain close relationships with counterparty banks - covering both liquidity and funding requirements.
?« Attends ALCO meetings as a member of the ALCO.
?« Responsible for annual review of Treasury Policies, identifying and recommending changes.
Funding ?« Actively identifies new opportunities to reduce costs or develop new products.
?« Responsible for ensuring regular monitoring of interest rates applied to Retail and Wholesale funding.
Reporting and Systems ?« Responsible for all Treasury related reporting provided to the Finance Director and Board on Treasury activities.
?« Management of systems used to ensure the smooth running of Treasury operations.
?« Actively identifies opportunities for system and process improvements and provides an appropriate level of involvement in solutions.
Who we're looking for
?« Good spreadsheet skills
?« Knowledge of Treasury systems
?« Good interpersonal and communication skills
?« High level of accuracy and attention to detail
?« Ideally studying towards or achieved recognised qualification in Treasury operations ?« Minimum 3 years experience of a Treasury function, probably in retail financial services
?« Experience of ALM systems and reporting is beneficial
