Reporting to the UK Business Director, J&H Bunn are currently looking for a UK Operations Leader with overall responsibility for it's 8 UK blending and distribution terminals across the UK. With their current Head Office located in Great Yarmouth, soon to be re located to Norwich, the successful candidate will be primarily responsible for: • Creating an EH&S and Compliance culture that is based on 100% compliance, injury free behaviour and being an environmentally responsible operator • Working with Terminal Operations Managers to ensure reliable, quality production from the UK Sites in order to meet business needs • Identifying and implementing opportunities to improve Site cost competitiveness • Developing and executing maintenance and capital project plans • Leveraging best practices and knowledge across the UK sites to drive process efficiencies • Selecting and developing employees to upgrade Site talent
Who we're looking for
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a successful track record in creating and sustaining a Health and Safety culture, ideally with a background in the Food, Pharmaceutical or Chemical sectors, you must also be able to demonstrate a track record of achievement in continuous improvement techniques to enable further growth of the business over time. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to progress their career in General Management both here in the UK and overseas.
