As part of the senior management team you will work on both the warehouse and transport operation who distribute to North Wales and Cheshire, Manchester North, Liverpool North and Lancashire North clusters. The site employees approx 750 employees.
You will have responsibility for the HR function on site, driving culture and KPI's. You will be achieving a below target absence percentage and managing all absence on site. You will establish key result areas for team and management of team, conducting annual appraisals and reviews. You will be working in a unionised environment and working with the union to drive WLS and performance, building good relationships with the GMB to improve culture on site, drive grievances down and maintain a good working relationships for the benefit of the site.

Who we're looking for
The successful candidate will be CIPD qualified and have a proven track record of delivering results within an HR role. You must be currently operating at senior management level and have worked in a highly unionised environment.
