Assistant VAT Manager
Frimley

Key responsibility:
• The Assistant VAT Manager has operational responsibility for the indirect tax compliance of, and the provision of advice to, approximately 15 businesses registered for VAT in the UK.
Additional accountabilities:
• Timely submission of accurate VAT returns and payments
• Tax Planning & Innovation
• Indirect Tax Project Teamwork and Management
• VAT Governance
• VAT Risk Management
• Provision of VAT advice and guidance
• Assisting in resolving Tax Authority audits and enquiries

Who we're looking for
• Extensive experience working within VAT is essential
• A background within a Big 4 firm would be preferred but not essential
• SAP knowledge would be beneficial
• TAX/VAT qualification - CTA/AIIT would be highly desirable
• Excellent communications skills
