The change/development analysts will be accountable for scoping and delivering change projects in the online businesses. They will play a key role in delivering our 2020 vision - 20% from beyond the core, and also in improving the profitability of the online businesses. They will be high-powered analytical individuals who are able to manipulate complex data in order to identify and scope potential operational/business improvements, and will also have strong communication and engagement skills in order to communicate those benefits, lead buy-in and work closely with project managers to deliver those benefits. They will: - Identify potential performance/profitability improvements in the online businesses - Scope, size and communicate those potential improvements - Write business cases for these potential improvements, and communicate benefits across related parties e.g. retail/logistics - Work with project managers in online and wider teams to deliver those improvements
Who we're looking for
Core Areas of Knowledge, Skills & Experience<BR>• Very strong analytical skills • Ability to analyse, present and communicate in a compelling format • Strong technical skills to analyse large and complicated data sets • Ability to conduct qual research where appropriate • Excellent Excel skills required • Preference for existing further analytic skills to build database queries in SQL and SAS. If skills not present, a willingness to learn and likely aptitude to be demonstrated • Strong powerpoint and presentation skills, but also the ability to engage a wide variety of stakeholders across the business • Self-starter, strong initiative and commitment • A change agent; never to be satisfied with the status quo, must be constantly making things happen • Preference for some sector experience in retail/ops, likely as a (management) consultant
