EHS Advisor

Responsible for the effective implementation and communication of Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) programs to ensure compliance with both legal and company EHS requirements. This person will assist in the undertaking of risk assessments, site audits, investigations and reporting of incidents and accidents. This person will provide EHS training and advice to employees at all levels, establish and provide procedures for safe systems of work in line with best practice. This person will establish close links with line managers & occupational health support guiding them to produce operating procedures for effective risk assessment and aid in identifying priorities and programmes.

Who we're looking for
The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or will be qualified by experience. You will have apost graduate qualification in safety (Diploma/IOSH membership) and will be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of working within a distribution or manufacturing background.
• Be fully conversant with relevant legislation and best practice
• Have the ability to work in a variety of team settings
• Be able to communicate effectively through all levels of the organisation
• Have the ability to analyse data, interpret results & communicate plan to employees at all levels
• Have the ability to work with precision, accuracy and reliability
