With a qualified number 2 and a largely transactional team, you will over see the day to day running of the department as well as taking on a number of key responsibilities to ensure future growth. A large part of your role will be to identify future acquisition opportunities and integrate these new entities with regard to systems, procedures and culture. The business is well positioned to take market share aggressively but timing will be key in driving these decisions requiring the post holder to be fully immersed in the wider sector.
A large part of the groups' success to date can be attributed to building and managing pivotal relationships with the banks and investors. Strategic partnering with relevant organisations across the country will also be lead and supported from a financial perspective by the FD.
Who we're looking for
The business is looking for a progressive high flyer with a solid record of achievement to join an equally successful management team. The successful candidate will thrive in an ideas driven environment and be motivated by taking a hands on and highly visible role across the business. A natural ability to build relationships outside of finance as well as strong influencing skills are an absolute must.
You will be ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified with experience in a multi site business. Candidates who currently hold a FD position must have exposure to high growth in a similar size company or business unit. Candidates currently in FC roles within SME's who are committed to making the next move are also encouraged to apply.
