We are looking to set up multiple high performing communities, taking inspiration from a groundbreaking community model where the community is key to the functioning of the company; whereby the community is intrinsically connected with every touch point in the business. For this we need a variety of brilliant high performing Community Managers interested in taking Community Management to the next level. The Community Manager needs to have experience of, and be able to understand, all aspects of the company in order to evangelise and push the advantages of community involvement. He/she must be able to develop and implement a plan of action that benefits the business, both on a commercial and strategic level, leveraging the community to realise business objectives. The Community Manager is responsible for managing a Community Team (Community Coordinators and their teams), and delivering an engaging and successful experience on fully loaded community boards.
Who we're looking for
* Excellent track record of developing successful communities
* Strong project management or organisational skills
* Advanced knowledge and understanding of online community platforms and their respective participants (Forums, Blogs, Photo Uploads, Profiling etc.) and how they can be deployed in different scenarios
* Creative, diplomatic, cool under pressure and fantastic interpersonal skills
* Experience leading projects to successful deployment
* Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format to board level, and build and maintain relationships
* Team leader, with experience of managing potentially volatile situations
* Great technical understanding and can pick up new tools quickly
* Have a good knowledge of principles of customer service
* Editorial, Marketing, PR, Technology, Legal experience, a plus
