Operational Risk Manager

As the Operational risk Manager you will work with the business to deliver appropriate governance, risk management and control in the Global Business Solutions By acting as a business partner, You will ensure that required risk, governance and control processes are embedded and operating in all business activities and play a lead role in establishing a secure foundation on which the business can grow. Monitor the prevailing risk profile and ensure the appropriate management of all risks.
Also provide additional support as required to the Head of Operational Risk.

Who we're looking for
• Previous experience gained in risk and control type function - operational risk or internal audit (or, for example, experience gained from being responsible for control activities in an operational role).
• Graduate calibre•
In depth understanding of internal and external risk mitigation techniques, governance and control requirements
• Good understanding of business strategies and commercial environment
• Strong influencing and facilitation skills
• Delivering results through others with a matrix management approach
• Good understanding and awareness of the financial services industry
• Significant experience gained in risk and control type function
• Good communication and influencing skills
