Our Client is a global leader in the supply of high-pressure and high-volume fluid pumping stations. For over 100 years, the company's UK research and manufacturing facilities have consistently delivered innovative, practical solutions for customers across the globe.

Due to strong business growth, the Company is currently recruiting Design & Development Engineers to be based at the manufacturing facility in Manchester. The roles will be within the Engineering Team and will contribute strongly to the design, development and support of new and existing high-pressure pumping products and systems.
You will be responsible for designing innovative new products, ensuring that quality solutions are delivered to customers on time.

Who we're looking for
Successful candidates will have an in depth experience with hydraulic and/or mechanical engineering design and development - preferably on rotating equipment. They will need experience in conceiving, developing and delivering innovative engineering solutions to customer under strict timescales, whilst also being familiar with SolidWorks or other similar CAD Design packages.

It would be advantageous if the candidates have design experience and working knowledge of pumps or valves. The Design & Development Engineers will be Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar, and will need to be problem solvers with an eye for detail and with clear enthusiasm for product design.

All applicants will need to be committed to driving quality and continuous improvement throughout the product lifecycle.

What's on offer
Circa £30,000 to £38,000 plus package.
