As the Head of Funds you will lead a team and have responsibilityfor ensuring the provision of superior quality fund administration services to clients. You will also be responsible for developing and growing your team and managing a unique portfolio of the business' key clients. In addition, key accountabilities will include: - Developing excellent client relationships through consistent delivery of a superior service, generating client retention and new business. - Ensure production of valuations, accounting and NAV calculations for funds managed in house are carried out in a timely and efficient manner. - Coordinate organisation of audit of fund accounts with external auditors and outsourcers. - Review underlying risks in Fund Administration activity and ensuring mitigating controls are put in place. - Manage the relationship with the regulator with respect to Fund Administration matters. - Establish staff training and personal development objectives, ensuring adequate succession planning is put in place.
Who we're looking for
Applications are invited from candidates already working in Jersey or who are genuinely committed to relocating to the island. The successful Head of Funds will: - Hold a professional qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent). - Have a proven track record within the funds sector. - Ideally have local knowledge of the islands regulations and a good relationship with the regulator. - Have strong people management skills and previous experience managing and developing a team.
