Procurement Manager

This new role will adopt a Group wide responsibility for procurement activities across all departments. Acting as the stand alone champion of procurement the successful applicant will singularly drive and influence purchasing behaviour. You will work with all senior management teams to finalise a five year procurement programme, including cost saving targets across a range of activities.

Who we're looking for
We are seeking a methodical, organised and performance motivated individual who can maximise the purchasing opportunities of the Group.
As a self-starter, you will also be at ease working as part of several teams or with individual colleagues.
You will have a comprehensive understanding to enable you to efficiently plan and deliver a wide range of procurement activity through appropriate routes to achieve tangible value for money outcomes.
Applicants should possess a good breadth of category experience including FM, Sub Contract, I.T, Professional Services and Office Supplies for this multi site organisation.
Applicants will Ideally have an understanding of EU (OJEU) procurement practice and processes and a cultural appreciation of a not for profit organisation. CIPS accreditation is a desirable.
