Production Control Planner

Permanent ⁄ £30000 - £33000

Within this role, you will be responsible for the following;
• Ensuring that the SAP (MRP) control process is implemented and adhered to for all project and operational requirements within the business.
• You will plan and maintain all material and resources required for the ongoing project activity.
• Expediting all parts between operations as required.
• Creation and management of a master schedule.
• Management of reporting and information for the material requirements.
• Engagement with production, projects, finance and sales to ensure a fully communicated and actioned Bill of Materials is maintained.
• Identification of any supply issues with regards to materials.
• Forecasting of all subcontract requirements and coordinating with purchasing to control supply of materials.

Who we're looking for
The ideal candidates will possess the following;
• A strong manufacturing or engineering background would be highly advantageous.
• A proven track record of supply chain and production planning within a large organisation.
• CIPS or equivalent accreditation would be highly advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• It is essential you have a strong technical understanding and can engage with shop floor where required.
• You must have strong organisational skills for this role.
• You will have a strong personality and desire to engage with the team and make improvements where possible.
