Our client is a major Corporate Bank and is a market leader in Infrastructure & Energy Project Finance, particularly in the UK. They have had a solid track record of success in lead transactions for more than 20 years. The team continues to remain active and is well capitalised. Due to their continued success they are growing their European business.

As part of their expansion plans they are looking to hire an Energy Project Finance Director with considerable lead Energy Project Finance experience in Northern Europe for their Amsterdam office.

The role will involve:
• Origination and Execution of lead Energy Project Finance transactions in Northern Europe, in particular Benelux, Germany and the Nordics. The transactions will include Conventional and Renewable Energy, Transmission and Distribution networks.
• Working alongside the Infrastructure Project Finance Director and jointly working closely with the Head of Project Finance Europe to facilitate the Bank's growth aspirations in conjunction with the London based Energy Team.
• Supporting the management, training and development of other team members.
• Maintaining and developing relationships with advisory houses, private equity sponsors, corporates and market professionals.

Who we're looking for
The candidate will possess:
• A proven track record of Originating and Executing lead Energy Project Finance transactions with a recognised financial institution. They will have relevant transaction experience across Benelux, Germany and the Nordics.
• Excellent market contacts and will be well respected across the energy sector.
• Strong strategic and business development skills.
• Strong management skills
• Excellent communication skills as a persuasive team player
• Strong credit and financial analysis skills gained in a Project Finance environment
• Northern European language skills will be an advantage.
