This successful business is a market leader in their field and leading theSupply Chain you will take ownership of the end to end Supply Chain Strategy and day to day Operational running of the Supply Chain. You will be responsible from the S&OP process to customer service and order capture as well as logistics and fulfilment. Some of your main responsibilities will include: • S&OP management from an 18 month rolling demand plan to ensuring the formal integration of the plan with the operational and financial functions within the bigger business. • Inventory Management. Using the forecast to optimise the inventory in stock whilst maximising the offering to the customer base. • Manage Logistics costs within budgetary parameters • Identify and deliver constant improvement of the Supply Chain in terms of cost, process and control and to create and deliver medium and long-term logistics strategy. • Build and maintain strong reputation with all stores and be seen for Logistics excellence • Working with Group factories and functions to ensure products and planning processes are 'fit for purpose'. • Contributes to Group and Market strategy and ensure Logistics concerns are being represented at a senior level. • You will also take ownership for developing your team and ensuring they have the relevant tools and processes in place.
Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading a successful Supply Chain within a national retail chain Your core skill set will include: • Forecast Accuracy improvement • Warehousing and inbound/ outbound transport provision • Customer Service delivery • Commercial Management • Key stakeholder management • Leadership and people management Ideally you will be a graduate
