An excellent opportunity has arisen for a newly created position of HR Director. Reporting to, and partnering with, the Group President and supporting General Managers, the HR Director will work within the Construction Group - Europe as a key member of the leadership team. In a varied Generalist role they will develop and lead the HR function across Europe ensuring HR aligns with the strategic business objectives. They will also work in a hands on capacity in a lean HR structure getting results through influencing and engaging in a complex matrix structure within a growth environment.

Who we're looking for
Of graduate calibre, the successful candidate will:
• have a proven track record in European HR leadership roles and will be comfortable with travelling extensively (approximately 50% of the time)
• have succeeded within a complex international matrix environment and have strong communication and influencing skills
• be fluent in at least one European language, in addition to English (essential)
• have experience of growth environments, acquisitions and integration
• thrive in a data driven, commercial organisation with a focus on business and profit growth
• be independent and happy to work autonomously in close partnership with the business, where there is a limited HR infrastructure
