Whilst running a small team of accountants you will be expected to do: • Budget planning, cash forecasting and corporate planning in corporation with the Finance Director; • Execute an efficient and effective system of reporting mainly focussing on the UK portfolio; • Provide accurate, complete and up to date financial information; • Assist the Finance Director with various projects e.g. finance / investments / establishing appropriate level of controls; • Prepare financial projections; • Prepare the Statutory accounts, budgets and management accounts; • Support the process of preparing annual accounts according to external legislation / guidelines; • Functionally manage the assigned administrative and accounting staff; • Share knowledge with and support of the Financial Manager; • Further improve the level of control in the UK.
Who we're looking for
You must be a qualified accountant ideally from the profession with: • Experience knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS • Experience with ERP systems • Management experience • Proven track record, potential to grow professionally with and within the organisation • An understanding of commercial real estate • Capable of driving a finance team creating an efficient and effective team culture.

Wereldhave is a Global Property business. In the UK Wereldhave focuses on shopping centres, with a pursued minimum portfolio size of € 400 mln. The retail portfolio amounts to € 167.7 or 54% of the total portfolio as at December 31, 2010 of which the largest property is a shopping centre in Poole that was acquired in December 2010. The development portfolio amounts to € 6.3 mln as at December 31, 2010 and consists of the redevelopment of a mixed retail/office project in Richmond.
