As Account Executive, you will be responsible for the management & development of a customer portfolio across one of the key business units; Global Approvals or Payments & Security.
Within both the Global Approvals and Payments & Security divisions, your target customers will be a wide range of businesses, some major global organisations, developing new products to take to market. Reporting into the Head of Sales, the Account Executive will be part of the EMEA Sales team focused on prospecting to generate new business leads and following these through to a profitable conclusion. Working closely to monthly, quarterly & annual targets, you will take ownership for their sales region, responsible for following-up leads with face-to-face meetings and the production of proposals & presentations etc. In addition, you will be asked to provide an accurate monthly forecast to your line manager, linked to your external activity and in line with the revenue targets set out.
This is a homebased role with regular travel, some international. You will be required to attend team meetings in the Basingstoke HQ 2-3 days per month.
Who we're looking for
The successful candidate will have a proven track-record of business development and sales growth within a challenging B2B sales environment. You will be used to working with a varied portfolio of customers, comfortable in developing relationships from a cold introduction to a long-term, mutually beneficial partnership.
Essentially, you will fulfil the following criteria:
• Ability to operate independently & autonomously
• Driven new-business 'hunter'
• Used to working to revenue targets
• Experience/knowledge of Smart Cards/Payments & Security OR Global Approvals
• Experience incustomer-facingSales
• Degree educated, or equivalent, ideally in a technical, business or related discipline
• Fluent in English language (written & spoken)
• Strong IT skills
• Excellent preparation & presentation skills
The role is homebased, with a requirement to travel throughout the EMEA region, including 2-3 days per month in the Basingstoke HQ. The majority of customers will be UK-based.
